INSIDR is a better way to get help. We connect consumers with insiders who've worked at big companies and are willing to help when the company can't or won't. Some of our fans think it's a better way to solve a big problem. We were founded in 2011, we're backed by True Ventures, and we're based in SOMA San Francisco. 

Co-founders

Antony Brydon lives in San Francisco. He loves Bank of America’s online portal, but seriously dreads having to deal with their customer support. Professionally, he launched ShopWell (funded by IDEO and NVP) to help people eat better, founded Visible Path (funded by Kleiner Perkins) to help businesses use social networks to sell and recruit better, and worked at EMusic (IPO) and ran IUMA (acquired by EMusic) to help artists sell music directly to their fans. Before business, he founded and ran a cross-country bike touring company. When he's not ranting about customer service, you can find him rowing at BAIR Rowing or blogging at www.antonybrydon.com.

Jeff Patterson lives near San Francisco. He loves being able to access the network almost anywhere on his AT&T iPhone but gets way too many dropped calls. He worked with Antony to launch ShopWell and co-found Visible Path (funded by Kleiner Perkins), ran technology for an Italian company called Vitaminic (IPO), and co-founded IUMA (acquired by EMusic), one of the first music sites on the Web while an undergrad at UC Santa Cruz. He's written a book called Audio on the Web (Peachpit Press, 1998) and when he's not working, he's brewing beer.

Jean Tessier lives near San Francisco. He likes his Android phone on T-Mobile, but wishes he didn't have to sign a 2-year contract every 10 months. He worked with Antony and Jeff to launch ShopWell, and spent six years at LinkedIn (IPO) and Google (IPO). At Epicentric (acquired by Vignette), he started Dependency Finder, an open source tool for helping developers understand the structure of their code (think Facebook for your code). He is a supporter of agile software and has a 4 Dan degree in kendo. He's an avid photographer and reader; check out his latest readings at www.jeantessier.com.
